Introduction

There are thousands of JavaScript tutorials out there. Some of them are free, some are premium, some are video tutorials, and some are more sophisticated and make you solve tests to assess your understanding. Unfortunately, all of them are based on HTML, CSS, and React, which are specifically geared toward web development. You can not find one tutorial based on gaming.

JavaScript is very underrated in gaming, but it is the best language because it is extremely well-synced with browsers. For 2D and isometric games, you don't need anything but JavaScript.

Add construct 3 into the equation, and you get a killer combo for gaming. If you hit a wall and you need to go deeper into learning scripting, then this is your guide. This tutorial starts from zero and will make you a hero in gaming. Under each topic, the basics are explained, followed by an example section that is based on the gaming genre (40 different genres to be exact).

This tutorial is totally free, so feel free to share it with your friends. If you come across any mistakes, need clarification, or just want to give feedback, please reach out to me at my site 6away.org

Good luck with your endeavors!
